Your data is yours. Here's what we do with it (spoiler: not much).
Stryde runs in your browser. Your tasks, notes, and stats stay on your device unless you choose to sync them.
Here's what might get stored:
We access your calendar events read-only. Your OAuth token stays in your browser, not on our servers.
Tasks, notes, focus stats, preferences—all saved in your browser's localStorage. We don't see any of it unless you explicitly send feedback.
Short version: to make the app work and (if you send feedback) to make it better.
We don't sell your data, show you ads, or track you across the internet. This isn't that kind of product.
Tasks, notes, and stats stay in your browser. Fast, private, offline-friendly.
Only the following may be stored on our servers:
All data stored on our backend is transmitted over HTTPS and protected using industry-standard security measures.
Stryde's use and transfer of Google user data received through Google APIs complies with the: Google API Services User Data Policy including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically:
If you connect Google Calendar, we follow Google's API rules. Your calendar events are read-only—we show them in the app but don't modify or store them on our servers. OAuth tokens stay in your browser.
HTTPS everywhere. Local data stays local. If you send feedback, it's stored securely. No system is perfect, but we do the basics right.
We use Firebase (auth), Google Calendar API (read-only), and Cloudflare (hosting). Their privacy policies apply to those pieces.
We'll update this if anything material changes. Check the date at the top.
Use the feedback form in the app or file an issue on GitHub.
